  1. Kenzie is home from school today so we just watched your video. She liked it. She has not seen a dragonfly here, but we do not live near water. How long until it becomes a dragonfly? How long do dragonflies live?

She misses you all a lot. We are planning a short trip during her break for Pentecost...many options, but she wants to go to the south of France.

    Love Tricia and Kenzie

  2. Hi Kenzie,

A dragonfly nymph can live up to four years in the water before it emerges and becomes an adult dragonfly where it will only live for a couple months.

    I got this information at:
    www.dragonfly-site.com

    Check it out for yourself!

I have been watching the lake every day in hopes that I will catch a nymph emerging out of the water and changing into a dragonfly. So, if I'm lucky I'll post a video of that for you.

You are so lucky to get to travel to France! Send me a postcard!

    Love,
    Autumn
